Phenomenal place to get some really delicious food!!! We had a great server, enjoyed every bite of the food we had, and had plenty to take home! Portions are definitely worthy of the price! Shepherd's pie was scrumptious, bacon blue burger was incredible!!! The fries are fresh and crispy, the onion rings are good too. The remoulade sauce that comes with the onion rings is beyond delicious, I wanted to dip everything in that sauce!!! Definitely give this place a try, they will NOT disappoint!
As long as I live, I will ALWAYS stop at Hooligans whenever I'm through Cookeville, TN. One of the best places on the planet. This is not an overstatement, especially considering how exceedingly lovely the staff is, notably Hayley. Crushin'. xx
First time here , arrived on a Saturday night and the place was , full and exciting . The bartender was , punctual , kind , and asked numerous times , if we needed anything . Even though they were busy! The music was good , I wish they had live music , possibly they do , and just not this evening . Numerous , large screen TVs , surrounded the restaurant . I didn't eat the food , but I saw , numerous people , having the wings , that looked amazing ! Will definitely , return , when I'm back to Cookeville TN.
Awesome place in Cookeville! Stopped in for cpl beers and grabbed some food to go. Haley was fantastic behind the bar! Her service and conversation were fantastic! Always my go to when I'm in Cookeville. Also, the mushroom Swiss was cooked perfectly... delicious
My Husband and I are from Central Illinois and were in the area for The Banana Pudding Festival in Monterey. The food was absolutely delicious. A little pricey. But the amount of food we got was absolutely worth it.
We enjoy the food and drinks but the smoke smell is pretty strong but tolerable
We just seen the place and stopped in and goodness it was the best accidental find . First the atmosphere was so nice and they had the sports on if your into that . Got beer then food. The food was so good we bought more to take home and plan on going back. We tried the wings the sauce is made homemade and the bar tender let us try a couple . Everything was so tasty there’s a pineapple hot sauce for the wings it was so good . The price wasn’t bad and the service was excellent. I got the burger steak I do suggest you don’t get it well done but it still tasted excellent and the onions on top were even delicious.
On a trip to Sparta, we stopped in Cookeville and decided to eat here at Hooligans half Irish pub. Great selection of beers, had a Stone IPA, Hooligans burger and fries. Everything was great, service was outstanding, food was awesome. Giving a ding on atmosphere due to smoking in the building as I don't smoke. However it was not crazy smoky. You're near here, stop by, definitely worth it.
